Join Us for the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of Dean Trail
9/19/2025
The City of Dearborn is excited to announce the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the brand-new three-quarter-mile walking trail on Saturday, October 4, at 10:00 AM at the Dearborn Community Center. This project was made possible through the generous support of the Platte County Parks Outreach Grant Program, which provided funding to bring this vision to life.
The walking trail creates a safe and scenic pathway connecting the Dearborn Community Center, Dean Park, and the high school fields. This addition is a major step forward in enhancing recreational opportunities, promoting health and wellness, and strengthening connections across our community.
"This new walking trail represents the best of what we can achieve when we work together," said Paul Gaume , Dearborn Mayor. "We are grateful to Platte County Parks for their support, and we are proud to provide our residents and visitors with another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors right here in Dearborn."
Community members are invited to join city leaders, local partners, and residents for the ribbon cutting event and to take the first steps along the new trail together.
